Okay, so there was once this doctor named Alec Holland who, while doing some cutting edge experiments on cell regeneration through the photosynthesis of plants, is attacked by the insane Dr. Arcane who has his laboratory burned, his secret notebooks stolen, and is himself set on fire by Arcane's mercenaries. Well, what did he think was going to happen? One of the world's strangest superheroes rises out of the Louisiana swamps and starts kicking some major ass, that's what. He crushes trucks with one punch, grows back a severed arm, crushes bad guys' skulls between his fingers, destroys a Wild Swamp Hog monster at the end, and gets to cop a really nice feel on Adrienne Barbeau when he heals her from a sword wound!!!! Awesome!!!
